Watching it all go by

Dawn at the waterfront

I've written this post a couple of times, but nothing seems to stick. Life is busy and all my efforts to try and slow down aren't being overly successful! All Saints is full on, and maybe its because I'm coming up to being here for 2 years and the leadership of the church is changing, but I need to sit down and work out whats happening with the kids stuff, where its going and give it a bit of an audit. But I haven't got time for that at the moment. Publicity. Holiday club. Small Saints. Mainly music. Programmes to write. Leaders to email. Creative juices to get flowing. Videos to edit. Youth group. Kids. Books to read. Crackbook (facebook) addiction to curb. September to get through.

But this week has been a really good one though, despite the crazyness. I had a special weekend in Martinborough wine tasting the girls last Saturday, I have such an awesome flat, enjoying some time out of Welly and some good talks. Sunday night was really good too, as the 6pm guys wrestled with the topic of alcohol. And am looking forward to some good "soul time" this weekend hanging with my Wellington family, its always good to spend time with people who love, challenge and grow you. I've had some awesome honest talks with a great friend this week, having some quality quiet times on the beach watching the surf and some refreshing jogs by the waterfront in the fresh cold mornings :)

Life is good.
