Appreciation

When I woke up this morning, I didn't realise it was 'Diana Appreciation Day'.... but I soon realised that I was definitely in the minority, as everyone else did! The youth group made me a stunning banner that brightened up the hall, and there were streams of people coming in throughout the day to help set up for our Narnia Movie Night and drop off cards and warm words. I feel very special, and it was totally unexpected. Diana Appreciation Day - hilarious... and it appears that the whole church was in on it too.

Our Narnia night has another half an hour to go, and I think the kids have enjoyed it so far. At this very moment Samuel is dancing around in front of the screen waving his sword in battle! He is King Edmond. The hall is lined with snow flake doilies that Cassie cut out and that Dave has strung up so expertly. And we even have a working lamppost, a wardrobe entrance (where the kids come in through 2 rails of coats) and Turkish delight!

Amazing lamppost!
