Wow, its seems like 2009 could well be the year of the neglected blog... sorry folks, I don't think it's going to get any better. Technology is a funny thing - I love things like skype, facebook and the internet, but its always difficult to get a balance between using them to keep up communication or living a bit too much of life through them. My new best friend has to be skype though, especially with its ability to conference call - who knew you could hook up a call with Switzerland, UK and NZ all at the same time?! I can't wait to get a whole family chat happening soon, it'll be the first in many years and would be really exciting! I also saw my niece take a bath on skype, and being able to see her was precious.
Life carries on in Wellington and its hard to believe we're coming into Autumn. All Saints is busy with kids programmes, Alpha, the hall project and everyday life. I've got a lot of work to do in preparation for term 2 and taking some time off. It's great to know the website project is pretty much complete though - check it out here. The children's ministry, which I team lead, is constantly evolving and changing, as we refine and shape things, and I get to work with such a great team. No news on a vicar, but the church is strong, growing deeper and full of hope and excitement about whoever God brings along.
I have booked my tickets home and will be spending some much needed family time in the UK and Switzerland in May. I'm away for 5 weeks, with a few days in San Francisco on the way and Hong Kong on the way back to New Zealand. It would have been a year and a half since I saw my whanau and I'm so looking forward to meeting little Miss Emma. I'm away this weekend with the Soul Survivor team, and then have a few days up in Auckland for the awesome Coldplay gig. Good times :)

I'm just not sure about watching people taking a bath on Skype
Just leaving a messge here too, I found your blog searching my own name on the internet. I, too am Diana Langdon, am an attorney from the US. Am wondering if we might have common relatives. Email dnlngdn@yahoo.com if you want to connect.
