Home with my best friend Katherine and my mum(you too can look this hot after long international air travel)
After the 27 hour trip from Wellington to London Heathrow, I am back home in the UK for 3 weeks. It all happened so quickly, and it feels incredibly weird to be here and not 12,000 miles away on the other side of the world. The jetlag sucks and I feel like such a space cadet - I'm hoping it will wear off soon. It has been so great seeing friends and family, just a shame that its such sad circumstances (check here for a cute photo of me in my house). I have both my UK and NZ mobiles working.
The purpose of this blog was always for UK friends to hear what I was up to, see photos etc, and now it seems like its swung the other way and now my kiwi friends can stay up to date :o) I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped me out over the weekend, friends who blessed me incredibly, cooked me amazing food, took me out for smoothies, watched dvds, saw me off to the airport (the picture of you guys waving me off got me back to the UK!) and all the messages/texts of encouragement. I couldn't ask for better friends and I miss you heaps. I'll be back in New Zealand at the end of the month.
And yes, England is amazingly hot and gorgeous - its soooo nice! Freckles hee hee! Below is a photo of Katherine and her new dog Morgan, also known as pig. It has been very exciting meeting Morgan, and I felt it was important to include a photo of such an incredibly talented dog. Yesterday K's neighbour rang their door to ask her if she was aware that Morgan had just jumped out of the first floor window and was running around their front garden. She is unscathed and seemed to enjoy her exciting flight.
