While I have been feeding my facebook addiction a wee too much, I've neglected the blog a bit - sorry! Tomorrow it will be one year since my dad died, so the last week in particular has been pretty tough. Lots to remember, think about, pray about, whilst balancing that with purposefully keeping my eyes looking forward, laughing and spending time with people I love.
And tomorrow is Christmas - yes, you thought it only happened once a year, but to be honest, all the festivities in the middle of the summer is somewhat odd, so I'm showing my kiwi friends how its done properly. Amanda has already made the Christmas cake, Sarah is brewing her fascination with christmas lights, and I've bought the lamb (well where on earth do you find a turkey?!). So its all go, and Ben and Teri are coming along to join in the fun. Oddly, its one of the last things I did with my family before leaving to come here, dad included, when we had Christmas in October. I think Jesus would like to have his birthday celebrated more than once anyway :o)
So that's pretty much me. Work is calmer for the next week or so as the kids are on school holidays and I've taken 2 Sundays off to get refreshed and look after myself before a manic term 3. I am really looking foward to my family coming over in 4 weeks time - they'd better bring warm clothes, cause its pretty cold and wet!

No Turkey!?!?! Well I hear that there's a pretty good one up by the wind Turbine :) If my dawg were still around, her and I would bring the turkey all right!
Mmmm......turkey.....I can't wait to get bigger teath.
and I'm sorry about your dad. I love my dad and he loves me which is the best thing ever, and I'd be pretty sad without him If you want to you can give me hugs whenever you want because I know mum and dad love you very much and are sad that you are sad and I think that you are really cool and funny and you bring lots of joy to my life. So if hugs will help or if you just want to giggle together a bit then that would be good. I can say Poos! That always makes dad laugh :)
I like Christmas, I like Jesus, and I like Diana

It will be like home. We are still in winter clothes, and it is wet and revolting. See Wimbeldon. I imagine summer is due to arrive here the minute our plane takes off. But we are so EXCITED!!!!!!!
