Martinborough On a wet, humid and overcast Sunday afternoon, we headed over the Rimutakas in search of musical entertainment - Bex, Sarah and I were expecting our More FM Winery Tour to be one very damp, rained out event, but after the Rocket wound itself around the hairpin bends and forks over the hills, we discovered Martinborough basking in the glorious sun! So along with our picnic of joy, rug and sunscreen, we spent the afternoon watching Anika Moa, Goldenhorse and the lovely Brooke Fraser. An awesome lazy summer afternoon in the Alana Estate Vineyard. I honestly couldn’t think of a better way to spend the day!
