Someone ate February

Its been ages since I updated my blog - sorry to those 4 readers out there who might have noticed. Here are a couple of photos from my birthday party on the beach. It was a fun picnic, and even though the sun seemed to disappear behind the hill the moment we got there, we made the most of it!

February is always a busy month as the school year kicks off and activities start up again. It seems that with Easter being so early this year too, its thrown things off whack. And now its March. I'm not sure how that happened. Highlights of the month have included: Our Lent Nooma group on Wednesday evenings, youth group sandcastle making at Lyall bay, Sarah Hughes and Edwin Derricutt gig at church last week, dinner with good friends, a wet rainy day watching dvds with Sarah, having Teri and Bree back at work, John's time at All Saints being extended to January 09. The mornings are a lot darker now, so I've had to go back to my street walks in the morning, which is a shame as I'd only had 4 months in the Belt. Hopefully with the clocks changing sometime I'll get some more time on the tracks. Right, its been a long day so far - with 9am, 10.30am Small Saints and the Junior Youth lunch - so I'm off home now to get a few hours off before coming back this evening...

Hello Diana, I don't check every day because I use the feeds thingy to tell me when you update but I doooooooooo read your blog whenever you post.

That hole of joy looked fun. I remember doing that when I was a kid. Samuel's hair has grown much longer that when we were visiting.

We had an international story day at school on Thursday and it reminded me of all the Maori stories. Remember the mermaid?

I told Teri that there was a caption about me under a photo saying "ben doing what ben does best' and she said "I'd hate to think!!!!"
Anyway, an enjoyable night all round, JT (blog reader 6) loved it too, and I'm sure blog reader 7 will comment....later.... :)

I read it too! But I am too ancient to know how this works so this is my first attempt at a comment... (it's Corinna, I just didn't know what to do so I ticked 'Anonymous')
