I've had a full and fun couple of weeks, and it feels like we're tying up some ends and heading into the home straight to Christmas and the summer. The weather has even stepped up to the plate and we've had some stunners! I've got a whole new 10 freckles, and its amazing to see the change in people as they squint uncertainly at the big ball in the sky. I've had lots of coffees, lots of challenging yarns, lots of celebrating (Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays, kids leaders), and I'm slowly working out what 2009 has in store...lets just say its going to be a good'un :)
And this is how much wood a woodchuck would chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood. Yep. We didn't manage to chop it all up, but the Soul Active crew out in Masterton on Saturday certainly had a good go - 3 trailer loads and 2 yutes worth of free wood for a local old folks' home. I certainly used muscles I didn't recall having, but what an awesome day to walk alongside a bunch of youth putting their faith into action. Great laughs, talks, worship and service. Good times, good times :)
PS - Am SO proud and excited about my uncle's new restaurant opening in Engelberg, Switzerland. Was honoured enough to have a play at designing their logo, and as soon as my feet touch the alps, I'll be pulling up a chair in Duke's for some quality cuisine... Das Unvergessliche Kulinarische Erlebnis. I can't wait xoxo
(shot Cassie for taking such great photos!)

How exciting - I even clicked on the Duke's link to have a look (but it's all in German even when you click on the Union Jack???). I think we are keeping you fit one way or another? We love having you here, in case you weren't sure! xxx
