Oh so close...

The end of the year is in sight and I can smell the summer holidays from here... ahhhh. This week has been slightly manic with groups finishing up and our big 'Family Christmas Celebration' today - it was chaotic as usual, but a lot of fun. This year I filmed a bunch of the Small Saints kids retelling the Christmas story. I found out that Jesus was born in 'Te Papa', the national museum in Wellington, and that Joseph was a 'carpet man.' It's classic viewing, you really should see it!

We've also been farewelling the Elkins who leave for Melbourne at the end of the month. I'm spending Christmas lunch with them, so I get to hang out with my kiwi whanau for a bit longer. - yay! Here's a photo of the boys after Dave and Katie wrapped them up in the christmas challenge - nothing like a Christmas teatowel to spur on the competition!

The label reads 'To: Australia, From: New Zealand'
