U2 have just announced that due to "an illness in the immediate family" they have POSTPONED the last 10 dates of their tour...including their 2 nights in Auckland!! I'm gutted! I'm flying up to Auckland on Sunday for a week visiting friends and my godparents, with a few days in Pauanui in the Coromandel.... with an exciting climax of U2 on Friday and travelling down to Wellington with friends via Taupo. And now... well.... at this point I have no way of getting back from Auckland!!!
**Update - well, there is nothing like planning an exciting adventure to get yourself back home! I have decided to hop on a bus on Friday and head to Rotorua, where I will meet up with Ben and Teri (also on staff here at All Saints) and hopefully discover all things bubbling (the mud) and explosive (the gysers) for a night or two.... before hot footing it back down to Wellington.
