Not much news...

The hightlight of last week was buying some super warm pjs and a hot water bottle (aka a "hottie" in NZ... hmmmmm). It has been pretty cold here in Wellington, loads of snow on the south island, but we just get the freezing wind. Ooh,and crazy hail yesterday morning. So I am now sitting in the office hugging said hot water bottle and wearing 4 layers. Oh for the days of central heating! In not having a winter in 18 months, its been harder to adapt than normal!

I spent a couple of nights hanging out in Johnsonville with Ben and Teri last week, and on Saturday loads of us went to Dave and Cath's for Cath's official "Name changing party" - 7 years of marriage & 3 kids later, she finally changed her name to Growcott! It was a lovely evening & a good time seeing friends. Right... have to get a shimmy on... off to Supakidz (lunch club at Hataitai School), then reading support (the kids help me read) and a meeting with Jen.... followed by dinner with the lovely Maggie this evening to celebrate her birthday! Hoorah!

I particularly like the contrast between your current blog entry and your mum's...
