Pink clashes with orange

Things this week have been pretty good this week. I'm becoming the biggest advocate of going out for a morning walk before work after seeing what a massive difference it makes to my mood for the first half of the day! For one, I'm actually awake! Tuesday and Wednesday were spent preparing for the next All Saints holiday club in October, after feeling like I was under a cloud of gloom being so unprepared. But after getting loads done, Mission: Miracle Maker is well under way... I'm really quite looking forward to our space themed week!

On Tuesday evening I went out for dessert with Cookie, and just had a really fun evening coming up with the Summerwine Kidzone logo for the camp in January. It was all in an attempt to try and make me feel better after the disasterous breaking news that the team had decided on baby pale pink polo shirts as our team colour next year - what were they thinking? It'll clash with my hair! (and potential sunburn). Sigh. Oh well. I have written the teaching material for the camp, and it so its all coming together there.

The kids and family work at All Saints is going so well, and God is doing such awesome things. We launched Mainly Music 3 weeks ago with a surprise 15 registrations on the day, which grew to 31 last week... and we've had to decide on a cut off at 50, as we can't really cater for such a large number! Its such a fun hour though, and I really look forward to it each week.

And my car passed its warrant this week too, after needing 2 new front tires which I was expecting. Hoorah! Other than that, it is a wonderful machine and the Brown Rocket now drives like a porche. The men at the garage said it'd last another 20 years and was better than a lot of newer cars they have seen. I did point out that it was a brown brick. And a classic. They said, define classic. I said, one you don't see very many of. They agreed it was a classic car. I don't quite know if I want to still have a brown car when I'm 45 though....

brown classic at age 45....so understand why you would like a change by then!!!

sounds like it has been non stop since your return....the early morning walks must be a really blessing and give you a chance to rest in His hands.

caroline is living with us now so we have a full house until Abi's departure, I will really miss her but at the sametime I am thankful that the Lord has brought back Caroline to Peckham...we are currently planning her birthday party, she would like a proper childrens one so we are definitely going to have those chocolate marshmallow caterpillars pictured on your blog..yum yum.

we've just seen Katka off at the station, she is off home to the Czec Republic for a few weeks. She has been a bit tired recently.

well beautiful girl, friend, am sending you lots of love and hoping you have come to terms with pink T-shirts, will look forward to seeing a picture.
