Twenty mumble

I have just dropped chocolate cake on my laptop, so typing this is just pushing crumbs into the heart of my computer... hmm.... My birthday yesterday was great! Sigh... yes... I am 26. It was the most stunning day in Wellington, utterly beautiful. I started the day with a relay of family phone calls (well done singing swiss contingent) and then went for a walk/hike/scramble up Mount Victoria to check out the gorgeous views. Then, oh yes, I went swimming! This made my flatmates think I was having a quarterlife crisis, as I haven't gone swimming in about 10 years, but alas it was fun. Even if I did get my stuff stuck in my locker and the only eager person to try and help was a completely naked old lady. Scary. I'll stick to swimming at the beach next time.

After my energetic start, I spent the rest of the day hanging out with some gorgeous friends. I had a drink with Sarah, ice-cream with the Elkins, went to Scorching Bay with Sarah Mac, and then dinner with the Wrights. Awesome day.... Here are a few photos :o)
