Crawling in with an update...

Where did it go?! The most exciting news this week has been the arrival of little Miss Johnson-Frow! Yes, Ben and Teri had a little girl yesterday, and I can’t wait to meet her after a long 9months – Jakob has a sister!

We had Greg Laurie in town with the Harvest 07 mission, and it was just incredible. The whole of the TSB arena was packed out and bands like the Parachute Band, Katinas and the Newsboys.

We had our Light Party this week, and it was a huge success. 250 people came to enjoy the alternative Halloween party, with games stalls, sausage sizzle, Tigger, music, parents café and a fun safe atmosphere. It took 2 days to set up and weeks to plan, but in an hour and a half they got through 18kg lollies, 15l ice-cream and 250 sausages! The best part personally, was taking 3 of the junior youth kids out the week before and filming the small 3minute ‘shine’ video. It had a great message and they did such an awesome job. I’m really proud of the final result, and would love to do some more video projects.

Yesterday it was time to get out of Wellington and take an adventure up the coast in the Brown Rocket. Amanda’s away this weekend, so Sarah and I drove the hour up the coast to Waikenae, had lunch in a café and took a walk along the beach.
