Oh what a little posterpaint can do...Hoorah! The first All Saints kids holiday club is done and dusted, and was a complete triumph! If you've spoken to me recently, you'll have noticed that it has pretty much taken over my life and I've been working on it for mooooooonths now. So I am utterly relieved and so happy with how it went.
My leaders were just incredible, they put so much time and enthusiasm into everything, the church looked awesome with mountains of mountains, the band was soooooooo cool (with 6 musicians and singers!!) and xforce simply rocked. For a band who didn't know any of the kids songs beforehand, they got 100% into it and got the kids rocking away! Ed - your xforce song is internationally renowned now! God was amazing and the kids loved ever minute - all 40 of them that came along at some point during the week. Great feedback from parents, and now that we've set most of the stuff down, prepped for the follow up family service tomorrow, all that is left is for me to go home and sleep! I have 3 days off next week to relax and party away in Wellington...
