Home and an abundance of sunflowers

Contrary to popular belief, the photo in the previous post is not me, I repeat - not me, it's my brother Andrew. Who I'm sure is delighted that I put up the photo for all to see :) I am back in the grey, blustery and humid Wellington - not very summery at all in fact - but its good to be home. The flight was a long 36hours, but I felt a lot better than on the northern trip, so that was just great. My lovely flatmates greeted me with sunflowers, powerade and fake tan.

I'm just settling back into life here one day at a time and been getting over the jetlag - I'm slowly getting back to my normal self, but I really don't feel prepared for 2008. It has been fun sharing Christmas news and stories with friends, meeting little Luka Wright and being home. I came back to see my first ever courgette and the 10 sunflowers that came out while I was away. We have a garden!
(Sarah doesn't share the same level of joy). And today I also chose to get an iPod instead of a 2008 diary, so my life is wonderfully peaceful as I blindly ignore all that I have to be doing. Tomorrow we head off to Waikanae for New Wine and all the joys that come with camping (in the rain). Yay!
